Description
Three days later, a strange phenomenon would cause a ruckus among the Odaiban beachgoers. Amateur home recordings had just captured an eerie circle of light that was high up in the sky and it’s slowly descending to the furthest part of the beach…
Once it touched the edge of the water, the circle became a golden portal and, safely guarded from anybody’s proximity, revealed the blonde woman carrying an unconscious Takeru Takaishi in her arms.
“I never thought that our second encounter would end like the first one…like a dream.” She said, with her eyes in tears ” But in order to protect your secret you..." she wept " I must…”
She tenderly placed the lad the lad on the sand and, with some hesitation, pointed her digivice at him.
“you have to forget what happened during these days. This is a secret that must be kept as such…for everybody´s sake, forget…”

Note: This is a remake of an old piccie of mine, which features a key scene from my digimon fanfic. Without meaning any malice, Nova and Ange accidentally caused a catastrophic event known as the "Omega Effect" which affected multiple timelines from multiple universes. To undo the disaster in time, they were forced to momentarily "abduct" Takeru Takaishi as - per superior orders- his presence could do the trick.
They succeed , the alternate timeline known as Omega vanished and things went back to normal...but at the cost of a huge, invaluable price.
Nova, still crying, is carrying Takeru in her arms and all she could do, at least, was returning him back to his home and spare him of the painful memories that would haunt her for the upcoming years.
I decided to redraw this piece, yesterday late night, after watching the "Rocketman" movie
I am a wishful fan of Elton John, his music - among other wonderful artists- was there for me in the good and bad times. How many hours I spent drawing while listening to his songs...endless, I say.
The scene of the pool and how Elton ( portrayed by the awesome Taron Egerton) goes from overdose to performing "Rocket Man" at Dodgers Stadium ....my heart sank.
I was so moved! I wept like a child for at least 5 minutes...and suddenly felt the urge to revisit my old fanart and almost like a maniac, I redrew it from scratch.
I just realized that song could easiky mirror Nova's grievance.
She went through a very traumatic experience and while the Digi Multiverse was back on its rightful track...she was forced to give up on her dear brother for good...
This song could also speak about Takeru's own pain, since the death of his first Angemon and his solitude. In 02, he formed part of a team that was unlike Taichi's...during the Blackwargreymon incidents he suddenly found himself unable to rely on any of his new teammates and the DNA jogress with Iori's digimon didn't help at all... (Iori took the easy way, just talking to Yamato behind Takeru's back rather than directly asking him why he was so angry and sad. I also blame bad scripting of the whole season )
Well, this is a spoilerish scene from my fic, and while I have commissions to finish...I just couldn't leave alone this piccie. It's filled with raw emotions , a brother-sister bond and how you must keep walking, despite the unbearable pain as there's a future waiting for you.
Besides pain, there's also sweetness. Nova is holding the child as someone really precious to her. She's in grief, ttempting to come to terms about never seeing her brother again...yet making sure that Takeru is alright. Because, her brother is still living in a way, because Takeru is actually Magnus current self...
It's a very sad piccie, but one of my favourites
