Description
He's supposed to be turning, just noticing the viewer. Like a scene out of any number of zombie flicks where someone just stepped in it. Hence the title Moment Of Fear... not his... yours. This started out as a test project, but three hours later I had a "painting" I liked quite a lot (can you call something created with markers a painting? I don't know.). I decided not to put a mature content warning on this, even though I did get pretty into adding the gore to it.Related content

awesome. it is actually quite scary..it's the eye that does it for me though...excellent rendering of the textures and lighting. superb dude.

Thank you Parag. I'm quite pleased that you felt that the eye was effective, because I did have a bit of doubt about whether or not it was portraying the "just caught the viewer's eye" feel that I wanted it to have. If was a fun drawing, just something I started out as a warmup to do other work but it became pretty nice itself.

I did look, and I like it. Reminds me visually of Snake Eyes from GI Joe a little. I like the idea of a modern "zombie" like infected character struggling with keeping his humanity. If I have the idea correct, that is, sorry if misunderstood it.

Well, I applaud your unique character. The last non ghoul zombie I remember reading about was Marvel's Simon Garth zombie character, so good for you for trying something original.

He got infected protecting his friend Dale, then Dale shot Damian to protect himself. Damian's body was found by the military and experimented to search for a cure, but something went wrong. The anti-virus that was intended to cure the disease, mutated and bonded with the zombie virus. Damian's body reacted and went into a berserker-like rage. He killed everybody in the base and fled the city. He learned to control himself as time went on and blended in with the living.

Have you ever heard of the film Darkman? It's not really a zombie movie but the main character is somewhat like your creation in appearance. you might like it if you are not familiar with it already and if you ever have the opportunity to check it out.
