Description The partner artwork of

It's the last artwork, that I drew for the exhibition "Ornamentik", that takes part in Wiesbaden, Germany. The vernissage is already over, the artworks are displayed till March 23th.

Rhis piece shows my novel character Teoma, the partner of Lionare. He is a demon, that has to work together with Lionare to look for a certain human being. He is rather bloodheaded and sometimes really noisy, but I still like him.

This is every bit as lovely as the partner piece! I'm so curious as to what medium you work with. At first I though it was ink, but then I zoom in and the crosshatching is so light and finely executed that I think I see a bit of graphite...

Anyway, beautiful piece and as with the first one, I find myself intrigued with who this character is.

Woah.. thank you so mich for your kind word I use Copic Multiliner ([link] ) for many years now, so it really is ink. For the lighter cross lines I use pens that are nearly worn out. The lines beccomes really light then, even more light than a 0,05 pen. That's the reason the crosshatching is so light.

As for the character - they both are from my novel series "Assjah", I wrote for many years. They aren't published anywhere, but I'm working hard to achieve the goul and publish the books.

That's a brilliant idea! I have some micron pens that are nearly at their end so I may have to give that technique a try! Oooh, those pens look quite nice.

I hope you accomplish your goal so that these lovely characters can tell their story! Don't give up!

Thanks a lot. Just give it a try. You need some practice, but believe me, it's worth. And yes, the pens are great... just a bit expensive, when you draw a lot.
