i use as much reference as i feel i need if i dont know exactly how to draw something (like cats, bicycles, wooden boards..)

ok so that freaky new buddy icon thing that talks just decided to do it while i was looking at your pic and totally freaked my the hell out. i was all "did i just hear that?" and then i was like "but i didn't touch anything, maybe i scrolled over something" and then i was like "dude they can maek their pictures talk on deviantart, AWESOME!!!! i wanna do that *whines*" and then yeah i stopped sniffing fumes and realized what was going on. heehee. just thought you should know.

nice image, good paw design, not many people pull that off very well... good compositional element by adding the butterflys,birds,bugs, or whatever they are flying over head, helps the composition grealty by keeping the eye in the picture plane, chalk this up as another winner
