Description
The "Airline" coachwork was produced by Whittingham and Mitchell. 28 were built, 10 known to survive.
The PA preceded the famous MG T-Series of sports cars. It has a 36 HP 4-Cylinder SOHC Engine that produces about 36 HP. Racing versions of the PA competed at LeMans, notably in the hands of an all-female Factory backed effort and finished 24, 25, and 26th in a starting field of 58 entries.
I believe I have a racing P-Type in the gallery. Hmmm, I was told by the owner if one is over 5 feet 4-5 feet five the car's too small. The cars are best suited for smaller gentlemen and ladies. May have some ideas.
