Description Permian Park has opened a new attraction! You can now stay at the Safari Lodge and watch the wandering herds of animals throughout the Permian. We have also planted Glossopteris 15 years ago so that we have a substantial population so that the herbivores feel comfortable.

Species:
Lystrosaurus: Our 2nd most common animal on the plains. Lystrosaurus constantly wander between water, fern prairies, and the forest. They are in at least 7 distinctive herds. (Population: 98)
Estemmenosuchus: This Dinocephalian, we found out, is much like a Permian hippo. They are less aggressive, but will charge when their young or harem is threatened. (usually by another Estemmenosuchus)
(Population: 60)
Moschops: Moschops are quite a large creature and are dangerous. Their 10cm thick skulls can cause bones to crack in severe cases. For the most part, their are quite docile and are much like cows. They use their teeth to strip the leaves off ferns, which are quite common on most of our islands. (Population: 79)

Inhteresting idea! What animals would they use to fill in the gaps of the genomes? Mammals or reptiles?

Even though they are said to be half way, probably mammals. Most of their features mimic those of mammals, like fur, canines, or skin coverings.

Okay. Makes more sense since synapsids are technically not even reptiles to begin with. Lol

I feel like this is a very underestimated project, and I am glad that I discovered it!
