They do, but at the same time, I don't blame them for the high price. It's an investment plus supply and demand. It's sometimes worth it for those of us that have just gotten into the hobby. I bought Snow Miku 2013 and 2014 and was thrilled to find them, even though they were 70-100 each.

Its true... even legit stores such as amiami have prices that rise and fall dependent on demand and whether stock is sold out anyways

Yeah, exactly. Right now Amiami has the Kaga figma up in the preowned section for 8000 yen. Now when scalpers buy a bunch of a product that isn't exclusive or made to order and there is less for other people to buy (*sniffles* I wanted that Sinon figma!), then I have a problem. Ya know, unless a friend bought it so that her friends who didn't have a chance to preorder it can have a chance to buy it (Sinon is mine and my friend is amazing!).

Im all for friends helping friends, or my brother and I often grab one for each other when ordering direct from GSC since they cap the postage to 2,000JPY
I think it was last week the Kaga figma was 10,000JPY on amiami, not sure of the condition at the moment compared to last weeks, but I have noticed some prices tend to go down over time - last years autumn kuji miku nendos were originally high, now they're cheap as chips (after I've bought them of course lol!)

I think I got my Casual Kyoko and Sayaka for 7000-8000 yen from Amiami preowned. Brand new, as usual with A/B condition. I would get the Kaga, but I've decided on nendoroids for Kancolle since they come with so much more (and they're so cute!!!).
I didn't see that. I actually had to look up the brand. They're pretty cute. I'm not a fan of the Pullip dolls I've seen on Amiami, but those are pretty cute!

Akagi was my first Kancolle nendoroid and she's so adorable and graceful. Her legs look so long for a nendoroid, but they're not!
