She is one of the most beautiful women I've ever seen.
Beauty and wisdom in one body.

What a beautiful photo of Sylvia. How I would have loved to have met her in person.
One of her best works was the poem titled "Mirror" by the way.

Very beautiful portrait! You captured such a lovely dreamy moment. And I love all the noise, it makes it look like there are glitterings in her hair.

I can't understand how I missed a pic like that when I first looked trough your gallery.
I'm usually not a big fan of pics with a particular sense of contrast like this one but you managed to create a nice feeling with it. Almost a timeless sense, the fact the girl in the pic has a sort of clissic beauty look only adds to this.
I would have cleaned it up a little bit just to get rid of some white specs and a small line that sorta runs across the image.
The time machine seems to be working fine cause the pic takes me right back to a more innocent era, if I was you I'd try to send it to "buscemi" along with some other pics of you and who knows you'll end up on one of his record sleeves cause it has the class and feel that would be perfect for it.

Her eyes are lovely and luminated in the black and white. I noticed that first and most. I like the way her fingers grasp the cup. And the way she's personally out of focus. Or so she looks... The way the color scheme makes her skin so tone-firm...and yet so delicate. It's remarkable, actually.

She's gorgeous, the way you've captured her in this soft, ethereal way - your photographs are always so naturally moving like this, especially a lot of the ones featuring people. You capture everyday moments in life but you seem to catch on film something more.
Her features are so nice, and her hair works well with the 'classic' theme that everyone already pointed out. I like how the picture is kind of rough and not crisp and clear, with the noise and the contrast - it definitely adds to the effect of a classic potrait. Great photo, Avivi.

Sylvia was making tea for one when the man from the future appeared. Just showed up. One moment, she was pouring Earl Grey, and then the next, she was looking straight at a strange man in the middle of her sparse living room. He was holding some mechanical device up to his eye, and he appeared to be looking straight at her. Sylvia didn't know what to do, so she did what she always did when she felt uncomfortable or under surveillance: she smiled tentatively and offered him some tea. "Sure," he said amicably. "By the way, Miss Plath, I'm Avivi. Don't be alarmed - I'm from the future and I'll just be staying for a moment. Nothing to worry about. Big fan of your work." Shaken from his sudden appearance and the fact that he seemed to know who she was, Sylvia went ahead and accepted the unusual tale. "Hmm. That's interesting...do you take sugar in your tea?" Avivi nodded affirmative and pulled something out of his pocket. "Here," he said. "Hold this for a second. I just want to snap a quick photograph." Her brow wrinkling with confusion, she accepted the object, carefully placing what appeared to be a straw against her lips. "It's Coca-Cola. Don't worry, just sip." With a flash, Avivi took the snapshot and disappeared into thin air, leaving behind a very bewildered poetess and her futuristic beverage. Muffin, her cat, leapt down from the windowsill and rubbed against her leg, as if to reassure her of the here and now. She smiled, stroking the soft calico fur on the nape of his neck, then pulled out her chair again and began to sip her tea, trying to finish her most current piece: "The Most Painless Methods of Suicide and Their Emotional Implications."
Avivi smiled in the amber light of the darkroom as he rocked the developing tray back and forth, chemicals slowly defining a ghostly face on the paper.
lovely image. inspired me to write a story about it. when are you going forward in time to visit me??

An image I would hang on my wall in spite of the fact that I don't know the person captured, but because of the sheer beauty of her and how your photographic skills do her justice.
I am very taken with this.
