Very nice work. I really like the way you left the top two thirds of the picture blank, the dragon excepted. In its deceptive black and white simplicity, it strongly reminds me of the inside illustrations of the gamebooks of yore : immediately evocative.

Thanks!
Interesting, is it similar to Dungeons & Dragons? I've never heard of that game (I tried searching Google but couldn't find any relevant results.)

Sorry, my comment was a bit unhelpful. I simply meant the old single-player roleplay gamebooks "in which YOU were the hero !", especially the Fighting Fantasy series -- considering I was around more or less at the time they were first published, they have acquired an almost mythological status.Β No specific illustrator comes to mind, but your picture creates an atmosphere of hopeful and carefree adventure (despite the black clouds and, um, the dragon), which I somehow directly associate with these stories.

ah... I love your inktober drawings!
This one is beautiful... It has (it's almost creepy) much similarities with a scene of my story.
I love how you have drawn the dragon ^^

My own. I tend not to write much though so the text isn't all that complete though I know the basic idea & outcome of the story.
