And now for dizzying amounts of pointless crosshatching! XD

Anyways, this is my contest entry for 's "Elflings" contest! It was summer midterm week for me, so I didn't have time for a big finished piece, so you get completely silly cartoony doodles!

So for the purposes of amusement, this is my take on elflings. Because you know what? I say that every single elf child cannot possibly be dignified, intelligent, and well-behaved. They're children. XD And some kids keep sticking shiny things in their mouths and that sort of silliness rather older than they ought to. XP And it amuses me to think that someone later called "The Wise" could have been one of those kids. So here's little bitty Turgon terrorizing his poor brother, as 40-something Fingon seriously regrets wearing that shiny gold stuff in his hair, and starts to think that kinslaying doesn't sound like half a bad idea.

Also, a bonus of sleepy baby Ambarussa because they're cute. Amras is on the left and Amrod is on the right. Nerdanel gave them different socks so everyone can tell them apart. XD

Medium: Microns, prismacolor pencils, HORRIBLE PAPER. For real. Bee Paper Company pen sketchers paper. Never ever use colored pencil on this, I had to re-ink the whole thing because the pencil picked the ink right up off the paper and smudged like a bitch.
Time: Like 10 hours, literally. WAY too long. Thanks crappy paper. XD
