The two gives me very different impressions even if they're wearing similar outfits.
To me, Gerard looks like some -> gothic vampire
while Billie resembles a modern kickass kool guy XD

Maybe, they used to wear similar outfits because they're both on the same record label, so the label did some budget cuts so they had to share suits (and maybe why Tre Cool sometimes dreeses up as a priest during thier gigs).
That probably isn't the real reason, perhaps it is just entirely a coincedence. Can you or anybody think of a better or funnier reason?

haha, i had also thought of the reason was becuz that they're on the same record label, but the theory is a bit different from yours. My theory is that since they're on the same label, properly they're having same designers to design their outfits. Those designers just ran out of ideas and ended up giving them VERY similar suits.

At first when I get to know the existence of the band, the fans just keep telling me that Gee can DRAW real good art. I did not believe it and think it's some sort of fangurl silliness. Then they pointed out to me that Gee actually drew the cover for the 3 cheers ablum and i was like WHATTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!! O_O!!!!!!! D@mn, I canNOT do that with mah watercolors!!!
then I starts searching for all of Gee's art that got put online and was amazed @@........................
