Okee, well, I read this really cool book on how to draw fantasy, and then I felt inspired to start a series of drawings with the Avatar cast in the fantasy world. So here's the first one--isn't he the most cutest, wrinkled old man you've ever seen? O__o What I've noticed though, as I was doing the preliminary sketches, the more I drew him, the more he started looking like yoda

Monk Aang

Your typical monk, Aang lives in the outskirts of the wilderness, possessing hundreds of years of wisdom. Because of the scarcity of food where he lives, he usually feed on insects, birds, and any weeds that happened to grow; however, there is an underground reservoir where he lives that was once inhabited by the Water Folk, who were destroyed many years ago by invaders. Because of the remote place where he lives, Aang enjoys company and often parts words of wisdom to any passerby, and may occasionally give amulets or tokens to any he finds worthy. His mortal enemy is the Sorcerer of the West Red Tower, whom he battled long ago. Both were mortally wounded, but both survived. To this day, Aang is still in hiding.
