Description On the brink of the autumnal flush of colour. Difficult to gauge just when it will peak. Lydford 2008.

Beginning to wonder whether I am trying to boost the colours so DA shows my photos in their true light or whether I should keep them as good as they should be on the iMac and put two fingers up at DA.

I'm just uploading them when they look good on my computer since it's variable what colour/brightness setting people are on. I was noticing a few of sassaputzin's recent water shots look bloody awful on my Windows machine in work but look fine on my Mac.

Lovely capture darling x

This is unknown territory for me Steve, but according to the info I shoot 'Uncalibrated' and Edit in sRGB.

right weird....not come across uncalibrated.....so what happens then...you edit an image, all looks fine and dandy, put it up on the site and it looks washed out? it might just be your browser...what is it?

Just to add to that; it is worth dropping them an e-mail or a phone call since it's variable what is open. We went in May and the river walk was closed but the other week everything was open but they do say it's worth checking with them before you venture over there.

Speaking of weather... thunderstorm here

Thanks Alex, well this was taken the weekend before last so it would probably be coming on stream now. With the chilly north winds now coming in, the colours should be pretty damn spot on. I would suggest dropping them a quick email - lydfordgorge@nationaltrust.org.uk they're extremely helpful and can give you an on-the-spot description of the tree colours.
