I thought of making these designs, so here they are
The Four scientists in their late teens (this is all my headcannon)

N. Brio: At age 16 he had an emo phase, and had an issue with a certain someone copying his work and ideas (cough- Cortex -cough) he dropped out of the Academy shortly after the Science Fair incident and decided to try home school instead.
His speciality was mutation and other animal related projects, his first pet was a mutant he made for the science fair

Cortex: at age 17 he got his way through school by using plagiarism and stealing ideas from others, mostly Brio… he thought it would be what a real villian would do, even though the school wanted him to put less effort on villainy and more on actual science, he is very manipulative and without plagiarism he wouldn’t have passed the classes.
He has no specific specialty aside from theft and manipulation.

N. Tropy: he was 21, the oldest of the four, in the Academy he came from a rich family and managed to buy his way into more advanced classes, even managing to become the Student Council president, after the Science Fair incident he decided to go to a even more advanced (and safer) school of science and villainy.
He specializes in manipulating Time, as well as weaponizing Sound

N. Gin: he was a sweet, caring, and popular student at age 17, everyone loved his positive outlook on life, so much that people wondered why he wanted to be a villain in the first place
It was cuz the weapons he made were far too dangerous, and when the science fair came along, right as he was going to make first place with the first missile he made, it went haywire and wound up in his skull… he still accuses Cortex of sabotage to this day.
He specialized in creating robotics and other weapons, as well as cybernetic enhancements
