Genious!

Nicely drawn. Not too much detail but also not too less. Lighting, as far as one can say that refering to a drawing, is really well done. Looks like a nice bunch of hours to work on.

Keep it on! Enjoyin' your works. (;

Thank you so much for your lovely comment. I wish that you could see the originaly because the scanner really does no justice to the lighting and shading of this work. And it did take forever! 80+hours all while my son was fussing "stop drawing me and play with me!"

I never could spend so many hours on one thing. My highest respect to you. My hardest artwork actualy is the computer I built for my younger brother. Have to admit it took round one and a half months and nearly 2000 Euros till it got its full power and complete beauty but now I'm glad I built it because its one of the best works I ever did. Wish I could say that for one of my photographs...almost hate them all somehow.

Maybe your son will understand one day and just look at this beautiful work viewing himself. It's really worth beeing kept forever.

Thank you for commenting. But boy oh boy have you seen some of the other portrait artists on here??? Compared to them this is dog food. But it's my first time doing a photorealistic portrait. So I guess I shouldn't get too down on myself. Need more time for more practice I guess.

He he he, the charcoal is just in the dead center of the eyes, the rest is pencil. One of those cheap mechanical ones that I love because I don't have to sharpen them. Yeah, I probably couldn't pull anything like this off in charcoal either.

I think he is pretty handsome aswell. <(^.^)>*

Thanks.
