I didn't like Teen Titans animated series too much, but I liked Titans East team. So I made some cute fanart. ^__^Aqualad (Garth) and Speedy (Roy Harper). Done in SAI.

I honestly think theyre both pretty cool. Kaldur has a deeper and darker history (that i know of... Im not entirely familiar with Garth...)

i'm not sure if red reflects like that if you're underwater, so it just looked strange to me 
but overall it's a wonderful drawing

I LOVE the reflection of Roy's shirt on the water! In fact I think the water texture is the thing that really sticks out in this! Wonderful work!

I loved Teen Titans! 
DAMN IT! The waves are colorfull; and the red on makes me think there is a danger somewhere. Or is it just me?
The lightning gives a life sensation, and harmony; such as the characters swimming with smiles.
I can still see a traveling mouse; even in the ocean.

That Titans show was a seriously weird mixture of concepts. Bad enough to impose an anime art style on Western superheroes; even stranger to choose this particular team for a kiddy show. The whole reason Wolfman and Perez's New Teen Titans was such a big deal was that it wasn't a kiddy comic like the Teen Titans used to be. In fact, it was more serious and complicated than most of the adult heroes' books were at the time. (It was a lot like Young Avengers -- but in the early 80s, when most comics weren't doing that sort of thing.) Cyborg, Starfire, and Raven all started out in that series; they were flawed people with seriously messed up lives. Seeing them reduced to cartoon characters was just bizarre.
Ironically, Peter David's Young Justice would've been a perfect fit. It was the opposite, a generally fun and light-hearted series in the middle of grim 90s stuff. So now they finally have an animated show... and it's a more serious, non-anime version. Whatever, man.

It's funny because I supported this couple in teen titans and since episode 10 of young justice. I support the couple also.
I enjoy Roy with any variation of aqualad.
