by the way, is that a dent on the bumper?

Do you mean the black dot that has a bit of a dip in the bodywork around it?

I agree it's an anchor point for the bumper, see just below near the JRZ logo, and on same spot on the passenger side in other pics.

The front nose piece is attached with external fasteners so it can be removed quickly for internal repairs, or possibly left off if it's smashed up.

Check out the first few seconds of this video of a similar evo without a face

Oh, nice. I thought it was a dent, that's great for quicker removal of the kit. I'll check the video in a while, I'm at the office right now.

Yeah I don't know if you're familiar with forms of rally racing, but one of the first images i ran into when searching for more info on this beast was one of it up on two wheels after a bump on pavement

I'm not quite familiar with rally, I'm more on the street tuners and/or time attack cars. But as long as it's an Evo, I'm on it. GT-R's, STi's as long as it's JDM. Haha

Thanks!
It's either that or it is where the bumper gets connected to the car.

Hot shot but a bit too noisy

Yup, high ISO settings were necessary in this light.

Or the image would get blurred?

If I were to speed up the shutter, yes.
I need a lens with a larger aperture.
