Description Crochet sushi that I made, VERY heavily modifying the basic pattern in this book:
Uncommon Crochet
by Julie Armstrong Holetz

They are done with an F hook and various scrap yarns. The set is a commission for a friend, who loves sushi, and asked me to make a soft, cuddly set for her.

YUM!!! I can't wait to go and see Duwyane this weekend because the first thing were going to do is go to a Sushi Bar.
Also if I can't find the book at the library could you maybe give me the pattern? (I don't have a job, so I can't go and buy the book).
Oh and one more thing; time 10 if I could. :}

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoy it
I'm contemplating making other sets and selling them on etsy...sometime in the future.

There's a lot of good "how-to"s out there on crochet. My grandma taught me the basics, (sc and ch) but the bulk of my knowledge was gleaned from books. When confronted with a confusing stitch or technique, Youtube is VERY helpful ( subscribe to 'thecrochetside' - you won't be sorry!).
Good luck with learning how to crochet - it's frustrating at first, but stick with it, and don't advance too fast, or you'll get discouraged.
I hope that you'll have as much fun with crochet as I do!

Yeah I went to the bookstore and looked at some how to's. I haven't decided on which ones to get though. &I didn't even think of youtube! Thanks! haha I learn a bit better when I SEE what's going on, some instructional pictures are questionable to me... haha

Thanks! They were a bitch to do, though, crochet food-wise. Probably because I had to sew them together - and I hate sewing with a purple passion, whether it's with yarn or thread.
