Description Went and revamped my character for

Name: Cira A'reth
Age: 17
Race: Human
Height: 179 cm
City: Xana
Job: Treasure Hunter and Revenger
Likes: Money, her tribe, taking out her anger on inanimate objects (kicks being the most common form of abuse), Xana, music

Dislikes: Arcania and Arcanians, expensive informants, expensive inaccurate informants, griffins (they bite her every. single. time), cooking

Personality: Seemingly easygoing but a bit of a kleptomaniac so check your wallet regularly. She likes danger but nothing life-threatening, and is sometimes torn between stealing from one noble or the other, which leads to a bread and cheese dinner on those days. Sly, and not afraid to play the heartstrings of her victims if need be, though she really prefers the hit and run method. She gets along pretty well with the other thieves.

Appearance: After her family visit to Ashbriar, she felt that it was time to get an outfit change. The pendant around her neck is the symbol of her tribe, and the chain that she once wore in her hair is now attached to the pommel of her sword, a gift from her father and hand made by the smithies of her tribe.

History: Cira grew up as the youngest daughter of the leader of a forest tribe in AshBriar that was situated closer to the central town than most other tribes. As a result, they got along rather well with the merchants and traders and were not nearly as closed-minded as some of their sister tribes. When she was twelve, she saw a visiting mage from Arcania performing magic. She was entranced by the lights and the power, and, with the consent of her tribe, set out for the famous city of magic.
However, it was found that Cira had absolutely zero magical potential, and she was brutally kicked out of the city when she ran out of money.
There was no helping it. She had to go back. She was on the border of Adysia and AshBriar when she met a group of bandits. They saw her gold hairchain, stole it, and ran off towards Xana to sell it.
It took her three days and nights to catch up to them, but by then they had already gotten rid of the hairchain, and it was now lost in Xana's black market.
So she hung back and followed the thieves until night had fallen. She waited until they were asleep, drugged the nightwatch, stole all their money, and practically sprinted to Xana to find her hairchain, and after weeks and weeks of tracking and stealing, she was finally able to buy it back ("buy it back" not "steal it back" because that sort of precious item was something she wanted to obtain honestly. Or as honestly as she could in Xana).
Cira considered returning to AshBriar afterwards. An easy life with friends and family, versus a life in Xana where every day was filled with hardship.
But Cira liked the air of mystery in the city. She liked stealing, and she liked stumbling into vaults of powerful, corrupt Nobles and stuffing her pockets with coins and treasure. She liked the life in the city, and the many fit young men walking around with no shirts on.
So she stayed and became very, very, VERY good at stealing.
...and not very good at anything else.

Nearly a year after her move to Xana, Cira received a letter from her father bearing news of her elder sister's murder at the hands of a highwayman. More than just the death of a family member, this meant that Cira was next in line to lead the tribe following her father's death, seeing as he didn't have any sons. She would have to stay in Ashbriar and relearn the laws and customs of their tribe, not as simply the youngest daughter anymore, but as the next leader.

But she cast these thoughts out of her mind and for now focused on getting home and mourning her sister. It was after the funeral, as she stood staring at the last dying flames of the pyre, that she told her father she was going to take on a revenge quest and search for her sister's killer. The laws of the tribe dictated that once they have received the tattoo on their left arm, Revengers are to be banished until they have completed their vengeance and restored balance to their world.

So Cira, now a Revenger, is now wandering the deserts of Xana, determined to find this "golden-eyed highwayman" as described by her mother and take his life in the name of vengeance.
