"I think you should take a break."

There's an identifiable amount of concern in Oikawa's voice. A pout forms on his lips when you ignore him, not even taking a moment to stop moving your stylus.

He wasn't entirely sure how this situation began in the first place. All he recalls is that he invited himself into your room. That was his first mistake. When the unsuspecting male innocently waltzed into your room, he witnessed your sulking form. There were tissues strewn about, your entire room was dark (with the exception of your computer screen), and you were a complete, sniffling mess.

If it weren't for the fact he cares for your wellbeing, he would've bolted right then and there. However, he cautiously took his seat, and waited for you to calm down. You seemed vaguely aware of his presence, but never bothered to say anything to him. He heard you murmur something about "have to draw Kyoko," between your sniffling.

So, here he was. Four hours later, wasting a perfectly good Friday night, watching his partner have a breakdown over some lines. It wasn't his ideal way to spend time with you, but he keeps telling himself he should "monitor" you.

Oikawa is broken out his train of thought upon you groaning loudly in frustration, and deleting a ton of layers. Oikawa slowly inches his way over to you, preparing for any onslaught of verbal tongue lashings you might serve. Instead, he pokes you, earning no reaction.

"Uh... did you hear me the first time?" Oikawa quirks his head to the side, before poking you once more.

"Of course I did," you grumble. "But I can't now. I'm in too deep."

"You're staring at a blank canvas, [First]."

"I told you, I'm in too deep." you reiterate your words from before, a snarl on your face.

Oikawa gulps, before laughing nervously.

"How about this. I, myself, am quite the artist. I'll draw a picture of that character you're crying over."

You quirk up an eyebrow.

"However," he drawls. You should've known that there would be some fine print. "You'll have to give me two things in return: one, a kiss on the cheek. Two: you'll go outside." Oikawa offers, a cheeky grin on his handsome face. You clench your fists, and think over what you should do.

It is true that Oikawa is an incredibly talented individual, not only that, but he works hard as well. Perhaps, he could draw well? But just never shows any other people? You almost smile at the thought - you were going to be one of the few people to see his art! Or maybe, the only person ever.

You're certain on it now. Despite his first condition being a bit off, you'll comply with him.

While nodding your head, you add, "Fine."

Oikawa cheers loudly.

"Alright! You won't regret this at all! I'll blow your mind with my art skills."

With this, Oikawa snatches your laptop, and unplugs your drawing tablet.

"H-hey! Don't you need this to draw?" you motion towards the forgotten tablet. Oikawa shrugs, before sitting down. 'Guess not,' you think, sarcastically.

You guess that he might be one of those artists that use mouses real well. That would make the art even cooler in your eyes. You lean back and relax while Oikawa draws away. He even begins humming a few minutes in.

You're not sure how much time has gone by, but you guess it hasn't been more then fifteen minutes. Oikawa randomly sits up, a joyful gleam in his eyes.

"I finished it." he declares.

You can't help but get antsy, and quickly attempt to glance over at the screen. However, an interruption in the form of Oikawa blocks you from doing so. You figure what he's going to say before he even says it.

"I accept payment first."

"Do you take cash or debit?"

"[Name]!"

The whining tone he has is enough to make you laugh. That, and you have good reason to play difficult with Oikawa. You have flashbacks to that time you accidentally sat half an inch closer to Oikawa than Iwaizumi Hajime (Oikawa got a damn ruler and everything). If that incident made him brag for a week, you couldn't imagine how long he would pester you about the kiss on the cheek.

You suck in a sharp breath, squeeze your eyes shut, and slightly pucker your lips. You begin to slowly lean forward, going at what Oikawa believes to be "the speed of turtle."

"You look so cute like that, [Name]." he coos, causing your cheeks to go ablaze. You opt on not giving him the satisfaction of a retort, and instead, give him a taste of his own medicine.

Instead of aiming your lips towards his cheek, you reroute your direction. At an astonishing speed, you peck Oikawa on the lips, before hurriedly moving back. You take pleasure in the fact Oikawa looks so off guard. His mouth was slightly agape, and cheeks a light pink.

"Y-you kissed me." Oikawa mumbles. You feel a bit of astonishment by the fact that he doesn't sound smug at all. In fact, there are traces of delight in his tone.

You try to play it off, "It's because you're always making me flustered. So looks who's flustered now, huh?"

Oikawa gives a soft smile in your direction, one that causes your heart to race.

"Me, I guess," he laughs, scratching the back of his neck. "But... you only did that as revenge? Not because you like me?"

Your eyes go wide.

"I-I never said that I didn't like you! Now let me look at that picture you drew, and stop using your weird little mind games!"

"Hm? Mind games? You confessed that you like me on your own free will, [First]." Oikawa nudges you gently, and winks.

You try your best to ignore him, and look and the picture he spent less than twenty minutes on. Oikawa only seems to feel encouragement at your lack of words directed towards him, and he continues speaking.

"I knew it all along, actually," he speaks. Something about the way he said that makes you believe he didn't, but you don't protest.

"I mean, after all, you sat a centimeter closer to me compared to Iwa-chan."

"Oh my god, Oikawa, I thought you forgot about that."

"Nope!" For extra effect, he pops the p. You're essentially being reduced to a pile of happy mush after hearing his oh-so-charming words, which was relatively irritating.

"Art. Now." you grit your teeth. Oikawa lessens his talkative nature for a moment, so that you can gaze upon his masterpiece. You do just that - and observe what had caused this entire mess.

You almost felt bad when a snicker bubbles up in your throat, but nevertheless, you manage to cease it.

"So? Whaddaya think? Pretty amazing, right?"

It was... a potato. With wings for arms? You think, maybe. You realize it doesn't have a nose. Or eyebrows, for that matter. The legs are barely an inch long too? You're so confused.

Well, looks like Oikawa being the next secret Van Gogh was just a daydream.

"It's -- vintage. Thanks, Oikawa."

He seems ecstatic with your response, his burgundy eyes lighting up with ease.

"Glad you like it," he states. Suddenly, he takes on a more thinking look. He purses his lips, and crosses his arms across his chest. You glance at him, expecting him to speak up any second.

And he does.

"So, come to think of it," he murmurs, eyes narrowing, "I believe another payment was required."

"Oikawa-"

"How about another kiss? Oh, on the lips is good, too."

"I'm-"

"Ah, ah, ah, it's shoplifting to not pay the full price!"

"Oikawa. I'm shooing you out of my house now, bye."
