QUEST 5

Now that you’re ready to continue your journey, you find yourself at a loss as to where to go. You huff and swish your tail, your indecisiveness agitating you. After a few moments of careful thinking, you choose your path, speeding to a trot in eagerness. Where did you decide to go?

The morning turned into a beautiful day as the little herd set off, the sky stretched endlessly before them as they reached the shore. Theia seemed rather giddy at the feel of warm sand beneath her hooves, quickly coaxing Vegas into a laughter filled game of chase. Tyro swished his tail, gazing out at the ocean, they would have to cross the water to get to the next island...

He glanced briefly at the little white filly, it was going to be a long walk / swim.... would she be alright crossing such a vast stretch of water? They couldn't stay on this tiny island forever and beyond the salty water he could smell the sweet spring grass of rolling plains. He huffed, stamping a hoof and calling softly to the two girls, setting off at a brisk trot the females followed quickly behind as they stepped towards the water.

"Ah! Its cold! " Theia exclaimed in surprise, quickly breaking into laughter as she picked up her feet prancing into the waves. Behind her Vegas chuckled dipping her head and swishing her tail in amusement .
"Youre splashing me! " The mare squeaked, stomping a hoof into the water to splash the filly back.

Despite his dislike of the new face in the herd, the stallions expression softened into a smile as he continued to lead the group out into the water. It was nice that Theia had someone else around now and at least Vegas seemed to like foals. Perhaps like them a little too much.... but still it was nice for her to have someone else to play with.... Perhaps they o=could find another foal some where to join their herd and be a play mate forher. His ears pricked at the thought. Yes. Another foal would be brilliant for them.

He paused briefly, to check the two weren't getting too rowdy with their splashing and trudged on one more. Fish tickled at his legs as they moved into deeper water the waves tickled at his belly. A glance at Theia saw the fillys back almost completely covered by the water. he flicked an ear in concern, twisting his neck to look at the mare behind his foal.

"Shout if the water gets too deep for her"
"I will. I dont think it gets much deeper though.... How far are we going?" The mare quizzed, tilting her head.
"To the next island. "
