I guess the big one is Clockwork's and is finally starting to work, indicating Clockwork's time moving and I think it's because the next Time has appeared. It's still probably going to take ages for Clockwork to die if this is true, seeing the sheer size of his hourglass.

South Park. Kenny McCormick always dies. Stan's like "Oh my Glob! They killed Kenny!" So then Kyle's like "You weasels!"

I don't want Clockwork to die. I've always liked it when even if Danny was his apprentice, he was still a father figure to him in some ways and Clockwork viewing him as a son just seems so right.

The Hourglasses symbolize how much time a person has to live. The big hour glass is ClockWorks life. Interestingly enough, though he has been around for a REALLY REALLY REALLY long time, his life is only begun. The same cant be said for Danny.

It's not that Clockwork's like has only begun, more as it is that his lifeline has progressed. Considering the type of spirit he is, he's classified as immortal, however something or someone has forced his time to start progressing.

I'm guessing he flipped Danny's so that he could be his replacement?

Well, he didn't so much flip it as much as add something to it that doesn't belong. <<

Eh.. that particular detail isn't really relevant in this pic. XD I drew one shelf of hourglasses, grew tired of it and copied a few.

I can tell as it's HUMONGOUS compared to the others. I wonder if he has Billy's hourglass too... Wait... (recalls a SNAFU comic)
(sweatdrop) well they never said anything so I guess that's right

I love how you phrased the last two pages; the "beginning" is an empty hourglass and the "end" is one just starting. I see what you did there and it makes finding out whats going to happen all the more exciting!

I was reading over the pages again and I was looking at the large hourglass that's basically the center of the page and asked myself 'I wonder who's life that is... why does it have CW's color scheme... and say 'till the end... oh... Oh My Gosh!!!'

Atrieisan In reply to SkyroreDraws [2012-10-10 20:31:02 +0000 UTC]
He still goes by clockwork. Chronos is the old ancient Greek work for Time. Also considered a god, or Father of Time in pre-socratic philosophy. More or less it's just an ancient name to represent the Time Keeper.
More or less only the oldest spirits and those of the council know him by that name.. Though he seems to shun it, which will be explained later in the story.
