Description
Finally finished him. He became a black as opposed to a gold due to time but I'm very tempted to redo the paint job on him so he may still become Smaug some day.Not a particularly good shot but the best I've got of him whole at the moment.

Seriously, the level of detail on that guy is amazing. Also, how the hell did you get the wings to stay in position? Sculpey tends to sag, especially when it's warm. I did a Cerberus a while back and had to basically jam it full of tinfoil and wire just to have the three heads stay upright.

The wings were a bit of a nightmare but I wanted big ones so that he looked like he could actually fly. He's about the size of a good sized crow with wingspan to match so in theory he could take off.

Polymer clay & epoxy putty (for fixing the wings onto the body). He's also got a hell of a lot of steel wire and aluminium foil inside of him.
