really disappointed about how the only neurodivergent character in homestuck is a helpless helmetted babbling brain-scrambled guy who cant take off his own clothes by himselfi guess it helps that hes cute though

Wait, he's not the only nuerodivergent character! Doesn't Sollux make references o his psiionic powers being the result of a "hideous mutant brain," or something? I think that psiionic powers are probably the result of the alternian/beforan version of atypical nuerological developement, so Sollux, the Psiionic, and maybe Aradia would all have to fall into that catagory, but none of them have the same crippling mannerisms. I think because Mituna's problems are not nessesarilly the result of being neurodivergent, but from incidental brain dammage piled on top of it.

that is very true, i am wrong there. sollux, the psiionic and i suppose aradia all are literally "different-brained" but by neurodivergent i mean an atypical neurological development in the context of "an ambiguous disorder", like that of which mituna kinda displays throughout his interactions w/ everyone else
even so, my issue is that he clearly resembles a very offensive stereotype of neurodivergent people, brain damage as an excuse or not
