yes i know it's been awhileanyway, so i wanted to take a break from sculpting dolls and just customize one.....so i was reminded by one of my fellow deviants that i hadn't finished my Vampire Hunter D doll. okay so i'll make it short story as much as possible.
so anyway i know there's one already out there....but when i bought the thing the articulation on the doll sucked and i wanted a vampire hunter d doll that was sexy and moveable and totally possible. So i bought a Volks male body (volks are dolls from japan that you can customize, fully articulated so very cool).
so anyway, the hair is mohiar and the velvet suit i bought on ebay....other then that everything else is from the first doll.....he's soooo beautiful isn't he?

This is so amazing; and I do agree, sexy too! I think it's the velvet that does it!
It's true that action figures and similar dolls don't even come close to a very well customized one, like yours. 
The mohair does a wonderful job as D's pretty mane.

yeah been trying to get a hold of another crappy D doll so i can make another superior one but their like $60 bucks!

yeah, I get the official Vampire D doll, rip off all the cool accessories it has and then get a fully joined doll with a body type I like and add the accessories to the doll......Yeah I wanna make more cuz that official D doll really sucks! and If i make more I can sell this one and share the awsomeness of D

Cool! note me when your done, I love to see customized characters, I've seen an Axel doll from Kingdom hearts ebay and it was soooooooooo cool, So now I'm gonna try and do an Axel doll, another Sora Doll and maybe a Cloud from Advent childern ^_^.....oh and I suggest using Volks dolls, cuz their easier to customize and you get to pick from different body types

no i made him....i took that crappy Vampire D they were selling in the stores....stripped it and then got a cool new doll body and fitted the Vamp. D stuff to it ^_^ ....it's a customized doll
