Yeah, Final Fantasy 9 is one of my favorite FF games too. I found an actual hard copy of FF9 sometime last year along with FF7. Zidane is now one of my favorite FF characters ever.

It sad that thanks to Dissidia, Zidane gets a lot of fan art of him drawn almost like a woman. To me, despite his furry-like features, he was more of a man than the other male leads in the previous games. Everyone else brooded and was angsty, no matter how serious the situation was and it bugged the hell out of me. When Zidane brooded, it made some sense. He actually did something about his problems instead of pretending he couldn't control anything.

I agree. Zidane's the best because he doesn't whine and/or brood nearly as much as most of the other heroes do. Also, his reason to help others is simply because he wants to. Aww. <3

cuz, thanks to Dissidia, ppl are all like, ZOMG I LOVE ZIDANE, ZOMG KUJA JFKADSLDFJALDFK and Im like, WOO ME TOO! 8D FF9 IS MY FAVOURITE! and they're all 'derp, whut?' and dont know who Freya, or Vivi, or Dagger, or anyone else is cuz they dont know anything about the game, they just play dissidia, URG T__T and yeah, they dont know the characters at all, and it makes me saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad i wanna squeel about ff9 with ppl but i cant D:
but yes, Zidane is my favourite. he's not an angsty emo kid like Cloud and Squall, and he's not a crybaby like Tidus, i love him xD

It's so sad, FF9 was the best one because the despite how odd it was, it actually had FANTASY elements to it. It made the game similar to the old school ones that kids today don't even know they existed.
By the way, I am a HUGE Vivi fan. He's the coolest dude in the game next to Zidane. Well, I love everyone, of course. XD
