IT SNOWED!!! It's already melted and gone right now, but IT SNOWED. That's all that matters. Our sacrifice to the snow gods worked! (don't ask) Our forecast says it's going to just rain from now on, which sucks, cuz we only JUST got an inch of snow for the first time in two years. Oh well. I had fun, oh and my dog LOVED the snow. She kept trying to eat it.ΒRelated content

I love the detail, how you can see every bead of snow in the focal area. Great contrast with the out of focus background. Colour and lighting is spectacular. Great shot!

Love the focus and the color! Was the focus a result of something like a macro lens or post-production editing?

First off, thank you! And second...umm...I didn't really. I was freezing cold, so I just used the "close up" setting, rather than stand out in the cold. I actually didn't really edit it...I used iPhoto, and just made it a little sharper.
