Zatch’s sword disappeared in a burst of darkness and he stared at the ground, flexing his anger wrought muscles. His hands cracked into tight fists, puncturing his palms for a tiny pool of blood. He squeezed his fists tighter and roared. A dark grey aura surrounded his body; his great wings outstretched; his eyes thinned; his demonic features increased in their ferocity, until at the high point of his charge, where the aura stuck about his body, he glared at the three again, swinging his tail violently.

“Come on, you’re all so boring! Come at me and fight!!” he said in an annoyed maniacal voice. His aura screeched with its electrical surges. “If you have to die, do it by my hand. Come to me and scream!!”

Like a bullet, he blasted to the crater where they were, pressing through the ground and forcing shards of stone to fly from him. He sent his fist at them, just barely missing; instead, the ground exploded beneath them all.

He sent his attention to Kumori first, kicking off the ground and attacking with his forearm. Kumori dodged, grabbing Zatch’s neck and preparing to throw him.

“Enough of this, Zatch!” Right before he threw, the dragon grabbed Kumori’s ankle, pulled up backwards and stomped his face into the ground with an explosive thud. Next, he turned his face to Kona, but received her foot instead.

“Stop it, now!” Kona shouted at him. He grabbed her thigh, tightly thrusting his nails into the muscle and feeling the warm blood through her pants. “Argh, damn it!” He planted her foot firmly into the ground, turning his darkened, blood filled face to her. Then he slammed his head firmly against her shoulder area, launching her hard to the side.

Swallowing the blood dripping in his mouth, he looked to the body beneath his hand and fully paralyzed and critically damaged it with a lightning blast.

“Now, where was I?” He stood up. Midori leapt to attack him from the side, where she looked successful. It failed though; he caught her by the neck with a tight grip and a smile with horrific intentions. She stabbed Zatch just below where his heart was; either her accuracy was off, or she intentionally missed the vital organ. He looked at the sword deep in his body. “Ow…You bitch.” He raised his other hand to prepare a Light beam to kill her with, but he dropped her and stepped backwards, his head appearing to be in pain. “What the?! Demon magic?! DAMN IT!!” He tried charging his aura to get rid of the ache.

“What’s wrong…with him now?” she said, catching her breath slowly.

“Midori, don’t worry. It’s only me, Zatch.” A voice called to her.

“Zatch? But…” she said half startled.

“No, don’t ask questions. We have to do this fast!” he said panicky.

“Ok, I got it.” she said calming down and ready for instructions.

“Skip the small fighting, grab the sword and slice right through him!!” he said quickly.

Without a word she hurried to the angry demon who barely saw her coming.

“You little monster, you did this!” He sent a huge hand forward to grab her, but she stepped around it and bounced to his great chest. With one quick movement, she squeezed the handle and sliced over Zatch’s entire torso, forming a slash in the shape of a backwards checkmark. For a second, Zatch blood trail followed Midori, but then its color changed to a black, followed by his hard fall to the ground.

Reverting to normal, Zatch lost his eyesight and slept.
