ok.. this is the third collaboration I've done with my friend ~submit .. the first one, Minty , was a great success.. the second one, was a horrible failure.. and here's the third. I don't think it's better than our first collab, but hopefully you'll like it!

The picture and the poem went through many many revisions. I made the picture quickly, and with not much thought put into it. Submit gave me a lot of help and suggestions to makign the pic even better. A big thanks to him, since it is much better than my original version.

Submit made the poem and the background. The bg is a photo manip with columns, arches, etc.
I made the drawing, and added the grunge and text.

We both put a lot of effort into this piece, so please be helpful and comment!

Submit would like to add: "You'd have to be pretty fucking stupid to understand what I'm talking about "

Poem:

Slipping down the side, in the depths and of my hide,
There are truths, there are lies, and the message is implied.
Saying no, not for show, it's amusing in this game,
I'm alive, I'm awake, I don't think you feel the same.

What relief full of lull as we slide in spite our fall,
As a bird without weight, tries to settle down to crawl.
What's the use to enchant you, I’ve myself to crown.
Will abuse make you safe? Belittled, underground.

This is you, as you were; I was in your hope.
As a paragraph explaining (If I die.) how to cope.
This you must, you must ask, you must teach yourself.
The process superseding what we've always felt.

I give up, I was wrong. You will never know.
Not if I should leave, and neither if I won't.
It's not beyond your mind, but it isn't coming out.
I'm perplexed with the riddle which I cannot sleep without.

It seems, all the things, just jump out. if you grow.
As you fall even further in the undertow.
Who's to know, who's to say who is dying next.
I sincerely tried, you embrace your mess.

Don't you speak, don't you cry, I won't comfort you.
(I'm forced to hold my tears as she doesn't move.)
As infantile as this, brings epiphany,
(How can I make her leave so deliberately?)

But I must; now you lost. This; the final oust.
DIVE... - not to learn - but to leave my house.
Fall alone, fall away, my caress has left.
Down the life, through the mind, (reach the ground.) and rest.
