Well as you can see it was quite rainy and gloomy here, but Arch Rock on Mackinac Island was still pretty cool. I haven't really seen any natural rock formations like this in my limited travels so I thought it was neat. I didn't really get a chance to poke around much, we were on a carriage tour.Related content

Cool, I hope you saw Devil's Kitchen, I was just thinking about it the other day. They filmed the movie "Somewhere in Time" on Mackinac Island, btw fyi

I saw one cave while I was there, but I don't think that was it. I think the stories behind both are metal as hell, though. I guess Devil's Kitchen is supposed to be inhabited by bad spirits and is soot-blackened, giving it's name. I think the one I saw was Skull Cave, which is a Native American burial ground which is more a pile of bones than a grave.
Never saw Somewhere In Time, but I'm slightly intrigued now.

Yes I like it when they name places after demonic things.. just recently I saw "Diablo Lake", and there is of course "Devil's Tower" in Wyoming, the greatest place ever.
The rock formations and their names played with my head as a little kid.. I wondered, how can this be a kitchen? and the devil.. was here? hahah
It's a good movie, I think it's worth the watch
