After many years, I've been able to draw an Angel again. Yay!
I was inspired (as you can probably tell) when I saw a exhibition of Mucha's work and thought I'd try adding a little Art Nouveau feel to my own style and a Mucha style boarder.
I refer to her as the aquamarine angel as the colour of her robe reminds me of the crystal.
Poor girls been sitting on my 'to finish' pile for that last 6 month, I'm so glad to have finally got to finish this picture!

Wow, very pretty piece, Astro!!! That Angel looks so beautiful and you did an amazing job on her dress to draw that flowers and little leaves so detailed and pretty! Must have taken you long to ink and color them XD And I totally adore that pretty background border, because it turned out so nice and it give the whole picture a totally nice touch!!! So stunning work from you again and great that you managed to color this piece!!!

*LOL* having to draw and ink those leaves and flowers took some time...I had drawn it A4 so they were tiny XD

Yeah, I can imagine that inking and drawing all those tiny details took a while XD I never had the patience to ink such details I think XD

I love the incredibly soft shading you have used and the fold in the front of her flowery hanging thing infront of her skirt (if that makes any sense!)
