From this one back to page 11, these were done by a guest artist because I was away for several months and I couldn't continue the comic during that time. Her name is Gloomy and I've been working with her to make sure she can deliver (which she has!). This was her last page before I started to pick it up again, but right now I'm working on a pretty beefy work that is the segway from the prologue to phase 1 I definitely love some my last few pages, particularly page 9, but now I gotta keep my fingers crossed to do Gloomy proud xD

It's just a consequence of real life and me focused on lots of nitpicky details. Some of the earliest pages were very simple, but as time progressed I wanted to present the comic with more quality. The expense of course is time. In some of the last pages that I did, it took about a month to get one finished. I guess that's the curse of a hobbyist artist like myself, not to mention I had to lengthen the prologue to keep the pacing the same. That's why I am moving to illustrations for the rest of Era of Night, so the story can progress faster. I personally am not happy with how long the prologue is taking but I don't want to rush it. I have about 5-6 illustrations planned out for Phase 1. These are going to include short stories that explain the scene, but also contain a lot more events that move the plot forward much faster than the prologue is doing. I'd keep commissioning artists to continue the comic for me, but that requires money that I can't risk losing. It only worked out with the last 5 or so pages because I was gone for training and had almost no expenses whatsoever. I guess that's my frustration, but I am still motivated to keep continuing the tale of this AU.
