First I just wanted to say that I saw the batch with star galaris that you added to one of the groups I follow a short while ago and I simply fell in love with both your style that you draw them in and the concept of the species. They're so cute!
Then you added this one; and I really took a liking to number 43 
And then you added the journal about customs ... Which left me torn, haha. And this might be a rather odd question ... Which one would you go for if you were in my shoes; number 43 here or a custom?

If it were me, I would probably purchase 043. I'm still getting to grips with the species designs (which the raffles are helping immensely with) and, more traits are going to be added soon! meaning you'll have even more choice on what traits you could add to the custom! However that'll be a bit later, and since you've taken a liking to 043, I'd suggest that one for now! <3
