Chons Class FrigateUpgraded version from the old Homeworld 2 spec model. Model by Strangelet
Texture by me.
Top render missing detail masking (which is applied ingame) and lens textures (which is standardized).

Heh, all the larger normals are actually handmade bump maps converted with plugins. The detail maps (the small tiled stuff in between the armor plates) are baked though, and are by strangelet.

We did mod Homeworld 2 back in the days. In which the original incarnation of this ship was used. And yes, our game is inspired hugely by the Homeworld series. I love that game to bits.
This is a next-gen spec version for the UT3 engine.

Lol , i know its a completly different model, though concepts are the same, the model has been hugely revamped and made from scratch. The detailing is very through, iam guessing 3 1024x1024 uv's?
Great texture work and props to the models artist aswell.
