This was her first visit to the sea. She never witnessed the waves before, never felt the wind in her hair, or tasted the salt in the air. The water nibbled at her shoes. She looked up to the horizon. It almost seemed a mirage. A horse emerged from the sea. Larger than life. He seemed to look at her for a moment and then his hooves thundered by on the sand. As fast as the wind.... a ghostlike creature galloping along the shoreline into the distance.
