Episode 100 in total. Wow, just wow. That was... pretty great haha.
Really hard to make episode art for, though! So... many... choices.
To think that Hasbro wanted even more (and they were apparently the ones pushing a lot!)
I actually had a hard time getting started on anything. Then I went with some of the Gallpall options there. Planned to do speedy paintings, but... yea that didn't really work out. (Sorry Vinyl and Octavia, maybe in the near future)
So I just kept going and ended with this.
Feels so weird haha, I tried to do some new stuff, which might not be the best thing to do for a single session piece on the Saturdays. Playing ground with Lyra and BonBon!
So yea, feels like one of those that feel not completely up to potential. But in the past it's been shown I might also get a bit tunnel vision or bias against my own work (combined with it being a single session)
Anyhow, hope y'all enjoyed the episode (you probably did, didn't you?)

I do believe you've captured a prime shot of my OTP there. Lyra's face, Bon-Bon's preoccupation with the bugbear...a truly marvelous scene, re-imagined with stunning emotion.
Let's start with Lyra. Her face says "why? Was everything just a farce? I want to know you, but can I?" The tears embellished from the canon content just add to the emotion coming off of her.
Bon-Bon, on the other hoof, has got a full plate, and she's only got an appetite for bugbear...dodging it, rather. Her expression could say "sorry, Babe, but this mare's gotta take care of business. Don't wait up..." She knows deep down that she's breaking Lyra's heart, but some things are more important than love...
The visual appeal, shadowing, and background details just add to the dramatic atmosphere of the scene. It's a serious artistic piece inspired by what would otherwise be a comedic event. Bonus points for tugging at my heartstrings (pun very much intended) with the general attitude of the artwork.

Well, first of all, I want to apologize for using Google translator, but my English is terrible without it.
And now to the criticism:
First of all, I would like to mention the magnificent angle, which creates a cinematic experience. The advantages include a wonderful job with the color and lighting, the use of backlight.
It is also perfectly match warm diffused lighting the foreground, and the cold light background.
And now to the downside:
1. Simply awful background. Yes, it is possible to understand - the focal point of the viewer located on the faces of the characters. But it seems to me, is not worth so casually refer to the background to such a detailed foreground. It looks as if the work is not over.
2. Anatomy of the characters. I have not watched this episode, and perhaps my judgment are not true, but I see here a few defects. For example, the head of Lira is huge compared to the body. Even allowing for perspective distortion, the head much bigger than the chest.
Also, it is very difficult to read muzzle Bon-Bon. It seems as if AssasinMonkey in a hurry, and pay attention only to Lyra. For example, in Bon-Bon is very low detailing for the focal point - many careless lines (eyebrows, hair).
Despite all this, the picture seems complete and leaves a pleasant impression.
