Personality - A little shy and reserved, but once you get close she's very open and friendly. She's a bit of a crybaby at heart and will tear up at anything sad or sweet. Forms grudges easily and has a keen sense of fashion. Never seen without the two hydrangeas in her hair. Tries to be very happy with life.
Bio - Sophia is her tiny town's jeweler and gives fashion advice. She lost her parents to natural causes (old age) and her sister travels often, so she spends most of her time alone coming up with designs.

Sophia looked up from the far corner of the shop where she had been sitting with her bird, Ann, and reading. It had been a particularly slow day due to the fact that everyone was at home enjoying their holiday and the flower girl had no better place to be (rather, no warmer place to be) but her shop. Christmas presents had already been bought and the chance of anyone coming to her store was practically nothing. The sound of the bells on the her door clanking against the glass awoke her from a haze and she jumped up, a little alarmed. "A-ahh, hello!! W-welcome, how c-can I help you?"

Adrian walked in the jewelry store with a little worried face. He was doing his Christmas shopping since he was off from work for the Christmas holiday, and needed to get presents. He came in the store to find something for his boss, Camille. He gotten presents for his mom and his friend, but none for his boss, which worried him. He been to a least a dozen stores looking for a Christmas gift, but none of them had anything that he thought suited Camille. He started looking at the jewelry on the shelves, his hair wetting up his jacket more as it flowed faster.

Sophia had been getting her bird a little more good when she heard the bells on her door clang against the glass. She peaked over the counter, not able to spot anyone. "Ah, hello?" she called, poking her head around the corners of a few aisles. Spotting the water boy, she smiled and walked over. "Ah, hello! Sorry I couldn't get to you when you walked in, aha. What do you need?" she said with a nervous smile, noticing how worried he looked. "Y-you alright, mister...?"

Adrian jumped a little when he heard the lady's voice, turning his head to the voice and seeing the hydrangea girl. He smiled nervously, blushing lightly. "I'm looking for a Christmas gift for my boss. I can't seem to find anything that suits her. C-can you help me?" his smile lessened as he got nervous. What if he couldn't find anything for his boss? This question made him worry more, but he tried not to show it as he didn't want the girl get worried about him, he got enough problems.

Sophia smiled gently and nodded, chuckling a little. "Ah, gosh, I remember shopping for bosses. It was always t-terribly difficult - they always s-seemed to dislike whatever I gave them...." She trailed off for a moment, frowning at the memory, then snapping back to reality. "But of course I'll h-help! If I m-may ask, what kind of person is she? L-like, simple, or more extravagant?"

Adrian frowned at the thought of his boss not liking the gift he got her, which of course again got him more worried. He told himself to stop worrying, she's going to love the gift, even thought that was a hard thing to do for him. Adrian was basically like this everyday. But eventually he stopped worrying for a bit, enough to talk to the girl again. "Probably s-somewhere in the middle? Just nothing w-white. It might blend in with her skin, since she's mostly white." he said as he touched his fingers together, smiling nervously as usual.

Sophia got a little nervous when he was quiet for a moment, thinking she had maybe worried him further. She smiled with relief when he spoke up and nodded. "Ah, sure! F-follow me..." She took his hand and lead him to the far left side of the shop, where her birdcage was. Lining the walls were an assortment of different types of jewelry, most of them necklaces and bracelets. The flower girl hurriedly snatched up the white accessories and placed them in the top part of an empty shelf. "See anything s-she might like?"

Adrian followed the flower girl to the left side of the shop. Well, it wasn't really like following, it was more like her dragging him lightly. He tripped over his own feet a couple of times, being the clumsy boy he is. He first noticed the birdcage and smiled a little. He then watched the girl put the white jewelry on the higher shelf. He stepped closer to the jewelry, looking around too see which one fits his boss the best. He finally noticed a pale pink and magenta colored heart bracelet that came with a matching necklace and picked them up. "M-maybe this? I know she likes hearts a lot." he said, turning took look at the girl. "Yeah, she's got to love this... How much do they cost?"

"Hmm..." She looked to the side, thinking for a moment and checking to see if her bird was okay. "W-well.... It matters on how much you have." Sophie smiled and lifted a hand, laughing gently. "How much would be good with you? I don't want you to walk out of here without a gift for her, haha." The flower girl took the two from his hands and walked over to the counter, her eyes closed in thought. "Maybe... Ah, I don't like putting prices on things." She chuckled and motioned for him to come over to the counter. "How much you got on you?"

He walked over to the counter. He checked his pockets and pulled out his wallet, taking out $20 dollars. "D-do you think 20 dollars can cover it? I have more money i-if you don't think that's enough..." He frowned nervously, handing the money to her. "Do you have any gift wrapping paper? I'm afraid that I don't have any at my house..." he asked with a little nervous tone in his voice.

"Oh, that's fine dear." The flower girl laughed softly and nodded, taking the two pieces of jewelry to the back room and returning after a few moments with the a box wrapped in peppermint-striped paper and a bow on top. "Here you go!" She smiled. "And don't worry about giving the gift, I'm sure it'll go fine," she murmured handing him the box and giving him a thumbs up. "D-don't be so nervous~!"

While he was waiting he went over to the birdcage, looking at the bird. He was about to put his finger in the cage to pet it when the girl came back, which made him blush deeply. He walked back to the counter quickly, embarrassed of what just happened "O-oh, that's great. Thank you." He took the box from her and handed her the money. "Me not be nervous? How do you not be nervous? I'm basically nervous everyday. It's like part of me... I-I think..."

Sophie stopped for a moment, then grinned softly. "Hey, wanna meet Ann?" She tapped the lock, letting the door swing open and the bird fly free. The flower girl sighed. "Ann!" she called in a sharp voice, and the bird came down and landed in her hand, looking almost a bit tired. "She's actually a little old, but a baby at heart," she murmured, holding out her hands and petting her head with a finger. "You can say hi if you like~"

"Oh, uh s-sure." he said, smiling shyly, blushing a little deeper. He watched the bird fly out of his cage and chuckled softly as she went to the flower girl's hand. "Ann? What a pretty name for a pretty bird." he said, chuckling softly again and petting the bird with his finger after the girl did. "I always wondered what it was like to have a bird as a pet, but I don't think I can have one underwater..." he frowned a little for a moment before turning back into a smile.

"Underwater, huh?" Sophia smiled gently, tilting her head and placing Ann in the blushing boy's hands. "W-well, when I was little, I remember a friend of mine had these teeny little turtles." She laughed, putting two fingers on the table to mimic walking. "They were a bit like tiny dogs, but instead they liked to waltz on over to you and just sleep beside you or in your hand," the flower girl murmured, a soft smile coming to her face at the memory. "They make lovely companions, if you were considering a pet." She turned a bit pink, noticing how she had rambled on. "Gah! Sorry, I talk a bit too much... Ann seems to like you." She chuckled. "That's rare, you must have the magic touch."

Adrian nodded in response. He took Ann on his left hand and continued to pet the bird, kind of shocked that the girl trusted him with her bird. He listened to her and watched her fingers walk on the counter while petting the bird, smiling sweetly. "Little turtles that can waltz? They sound pretty cool and adorable. Maybe I'll consider into that." he said, chuckling when she blushed. "No no it's alright, I-I don't mind... oh it seems like I do, look at that. You like that Ann, don't you?" he laughed a little, petting Ann under her beak.

"Y-yeah, they're awfully cute." Sophia giggled a bit, smiling happily to see that the little bird had made a friend. "Y-you seem t-to be an animal p-person, huh?" She watched Ann squeak happily and flutter her wings a little. She sighed. "Sorry if she's a bit too affectionate, not many people get to stop by that often," the flower girl explained, putting the box down on the table. "Especially during this time of the year - A-and those who do aren't usually willing to say hello to an old bird like her." Sophia nodded and shrugged, a small grin coming to her face. "It's relaxing to have calmer people come by."

"Hehe yeah, I-I really like animals." Adrian said, smiling and blushing dark blue, his hair rushing a little faster as he doesn't usually tell people that he just met. When he saw Ann squeak and flutter her wings happily, he smiled brightly and laughed. "Oh it's alright, I don't mind." he chuckled softly. "A-and with a store like this, I don't understand why you don't have more customers. B-but that's like saying the same thing with the store I work at. We're kind of busy during the Christmas season, but that's only the only time we are really busy." He sighed softly. " But whatever I guess..."

"All stores are bound to pick up eventually," Sophia replied with a chuckle, leaning over the counter and smiling gently, a little amused at seeing Ann so happy. "There's only so much jewelry shop can offer though, so people get bored." She eyed the boy for a moment, leaning her head into her hands. "I-I'm afraid if you said it already, it must've slipped by me, b-but where do you work?" she asked, her tone a little quieter than before as she reached out to tap Ann's forehead. "Maybe I could try and help with business," the flower girl offered with a grin.

"I-it's called The Music Box. Medium sized store, has a variety of ukuleles and guitars near the front windows..." he described, watching her finger touch Ann's forehead. He showed a warm smile, his petting slowing down a little. "I'm usually at the counter. But sometimes my boss will be at the counter, but rarely." he said, Adrian's hair was slowing down to his normal rate.
