I tried something new on this one, and by the end, realized I could have just used a special layering to get the same effect.. ah well, I still like it, and it shows that I don't really need the layers in any case, so
whatever.

Hahaha, it's not all that difficult really, I could show you in a matter of minutes. However, getting the hand and eye for it is another story. Not to mention the random inspirational bursts..

I really dig the high gloss around the blackish red area. That purple feels a little out of place but I really don't mind it. It all blends in quite well. Good job
