Description
We all wear masks, some are just more ornate than others.I was inspired to do this piece because I feel as though we do not always see reality. People that know who I am are few and far between. There are not many who truly understand and comprehend the type of person I am. Most of the time I feel as though people do not see who I am but what they want to see. This piece was fun to do. I did this on 11"x8.5" heavy weight acid free white paper. The colored pencils are Prismacolor Premier. I did not concentrate to hard on this piece I worked on it off and on for about a week. This was originally a mask doodle that got away from me. Enjoy

Nice job, I like the lines around the eyes and the stone on the collar a lot. Also the great blue colors! You are definitely right about projecting what we want to see onto people. I catch myself doing it a lot.
