Description
I had about half of this finished right before my hard-drive quit on me. But I got to work on it today on my brothers computer. This is a experimental concept using mainly textured brushes. This was really fun to do as I was testing combined brushes and effects along with smudging. I also wanted concept of Mirage during a Solar Eclipse as during these eclipse's the guardian of light goes through a brief moment of dramatic change. During the day or night of the eclipse he experiences smaller changes in attitude. But right at the eclipse it self his wings will start to fade and disappear. But at the same time they fade to black. I tried to show the darkening of the wings here. Also the red marking on his body also disappear, or you would see some faint red on his tail. Mirage and Kura go through the same experience except Kura goes though it on the Lunar Eclipse. They both describe the moment as painful and the feeling of disappearing. As if they will be forgotten or never was. But this only lasts as long as the eclipse itself. Once its over they go back to normal.
