Tsukasa's such an awesome character. I normally don't like depressed characters in anime, they're usually just annoying. But Tsukasa's not really that depressed, right? XD He's just quiet.I really like how this came out. I've tried to draw him many times, but always failed. This time I finally succeeded, I think. I know his expression should propably be a bit more gloomy/sad, but I wanted to draw him truly smiling for once. And oh yeah, I usually hate how I color eyes, but these ones I like.

Finally another one, who like Tsukasa.
I usually don't like depressed characters, too, because they're mostly annoying. But Tsukasa IMO isn't realy depressed, he's more trying to avoid other peoples because he fears to get hurt again (like in his school from the classmates or his father) and he don't believe that others could be able to understand him, so he get used to that and don't even try to tell other people what he is thinking etc.
I just love this character and SIGN is my most favourite anime ever~
Sadly, there aren't as many deviations from Tsukasa as there are from Haseo on DA...

Yep, Tsukasa has a sad history. SIGN is one of my favorite animes as well.
I've noticed that the 'new generation' .hack characters get a lot of attention... Doesn't anyone know about/remember SIGN or the original games? XD

Yo~ THAT'S originally that what annoys me too.
There are TONS of Haseo franchise. He is in all three Gu games, he is the main in the anime, he is in GU Trilogy CG-Movie (comes out january), then he is in the GU+ Manga AND he is in the newest .hack//LINK Manga as well... o_O
I would be very happy if they would make only one thing where great characters like Tsukasa, Mimiru or Bear has a cameo.
It's not such a good idea to reuse in every new series the same characters, besides, it just seems to be fanservice IMO, when you think about all the Haseo fangirlies; but .hack stands for charadevelopment, mystic and poetry, but not for fanservice. I realy hope we will get someone like Tsukasa again, just one time again. And hope, that the new anime will be more like SIGN was, I don't realy liked Roots so much

My friend Ally named one of her stuffed animals Tsukasa after...him/her/it.
Oh, and it's Bandai/Bee-Train, not Namco. No worries though.
Everything just came out so AWESOME! The hats are usually the hardest parts for me to do, but you pulled it off very well! I really like the facial expression, too.

I cried so hard at the end of the anime...not because it was a sad ending, but because I wouldn't get to see Tsukassa anymore! Although that seems like kind of a silly reason to cry over the ending to a show, doesn't it?

I didn't like the ending, for some reason I never liked the main coupling. I don't think that anime really needed romance. XD I'm always sad when some series ends, because I become so attached to the (main) characters.

Yeah, I really didn't like the main coupling either. It just seemed a little bit forced to me near the end, but in the beginning I kinda liked it.
I was mostly attached to Crimm, Tsukassa, and Mimiru in that show. None of the other characters particularly appealed to me except for their interesting character designs.

Well [inhales] you did really well on coulering and shading the eyes considering they're quite small and you gave his outfit an leather effect and the jewels stand out well, you always do great poraits as usually.
