Well thank you, but it's always going to bother me I kept trying to hold my cousin off saying I needed a little more time, but she was rather impatient haha. For once I had a reference to work from that had excellent clarity at least.

Thanks so much! I should have some time soon to work on my painting for our art trade if you were still interested. The smallest size I usually work with is a 5"x7", so I would probably go with that. I'm slightly less crazy busy now and should be able to paint you something in a timely manor

Thanks so much! I got lucky this time getting a reference photo with an excellent variety of skin tones and incredible lighting. A lot of times people want to give us artists photos with bland lighting that has no contrast to it making them very difficult to work with.

Yeah this is a serious problem for me as well, most references don't have good lightening and a bright variety of colours. Most photos are made in order to look beautiful and "perfect", but that is not what I need for my drawings and paintings.

Thank you! I just wish I would have had more time for adding even just a little more depth and dimension to the hat, but i'm definietly pleased with how the baby came out.

Haha thanks! It really helped with this one that the reference was high resolution and perfect clarity. I really need to start only taking commission when they have good reference photos. Otherwise it makes for a lot more work and less quality as i'm sure you know yourself

It's almost like they look though hundreds of photos of their kids or pets and decide here let me give you the worst one I have haha

yep ,ive had black dogs against black bin liners at night,white dogs in snow with red eye,....just because they know what the animal looks like they think you do too.,,,,just done a black person in black and white and she says why is his green jacket black....errrrrrrrr ITS BLACK AND WHITE grrrrrrrrr then she wanted to pay half price for it ,i shredded it in front of her great feeling ...she looked at me and said are you going to do another one then ..oh yes stand in the corner and hold your breath ..
