a a a a that means so much ! i typically go with the original color with the eye and then i go with a darker tone and go around the top! then i take a relatively almost.. neon bright shade of the color and put it around the pupil!!!

Styles develop and grow over time. I don't think your artwork will be emotionless/soulless as long as you enjoy what you're doing. Passion honestly does make things better. You can tell when something is a labor of love and when something is a chore, yanno?
