Description 50x60cn Oil & Plaka on Linen - 2006
this is also one of three paintings... which are also meant to be with themselves... this is : Bali --- painted it with a feeling, just the form of the egg was predefined... this is what had come out so far.... don't know if it is totally finished yet - might just be a few touches still.... want to paint this again... same intention, new painting... might be coming soon...

Amazing! I really like this piece for personal reasons. It describes a feeling that I had under a certain (safe) substance, I felt like I could actually see and feel the universe around me. I felt so small compared to it that It was almost suffocating, claustrophobic even. But the way everything looked is indescribable, except for the way its portrayed in this piece. Everything looked like colorful webs intertwining. I love this piece, it really takes me back to that feeling. It might have been something I shouldn't have seen, but I'm glad I did. Once again beautiful work!!!

So then some people are in error, this is not a digital painting but rather a scanned painting?

I don't know how you do this, and I don't want to know, because it's magical and I don't want to lose that magic. Exquisite.

Wow, wonderful colours used! Seems you have gotten quite a lot of inspiration from Bali lately, as I see most of your recent works have some conenction with that. Sounds interesting the thought about doing it again, too, however I think this one is quite wonderdful as it is. Nice egg shape too! Any chance you might submit it to the club? Hehehe, yeah I am pretty excited about it lately, I really want it to grow enough for me to think it is worth subscribing.. That would be fun, I think. What is this plaka you use? I have never heard of that, could be interesting to know.

I would love to see the original of this, to be able to see the brushstrokes, and really be able to discover all of the details os this piece.

Well, .....I will take you up on that if it is still displayed in years to come. I reside in the USA and will not have the funds to travel for several more years.

plaka is the company name for a casein paint... if you are in the states something similair would be from 'Shiva'.... it's an organic 'milk' based poster paint... kinda like tempera in it's abilites... i use it as a substitute for tempera... thanks for the comments an interesting perspective - i like it... umm

All energy coming from and all energy flowing to the Buddah sitting peacefully in the midst. An interesting method of presenting thought.
