EDIT: this little pendant is now up for sale on my etsy

My late grandfather used to love birds so every winter he would put up a birdhouse just outside the kitchen window so we would be able to watch them. We learned to move really quiet and really slow so they wouldn’t be startled and we could look at the while they were eating the different nuts and the seeds we provided for them. There were lots of them, mostly different tits and sparrows but every so often a robin would come by as well.

For this Pendant I chose to go with a very simple design; I made a base from beesutty and after curing painted it in a way that the brushstrokes resembled feathers. As for some reason there was still a shiny spot on his head when it was time to glue on the cap I added a bit of snow there. I do think it very cute and I’m happy for the accident
