Oh my, this is so random O.o Sooooo, I was doing tests for university today in Rome, when, all of a sudden, I came up with this idea for Absol's pre-evo
I like Absol truly much, so I created a baby pokemon that could fit with it, and a counterpart that could balance with it
And I did this I KNOW, Light type doesn't exist. But I really like it! AND it's the perfect match for Dark
So here you go^^Here's some info about the fakemon:
Name: Solun
Name Origin: Union of "Sol" (from Absol), meaning "Sun" in Latin, and "Lun" (from Ablun), short for "Luna", meaning "Moon" in Latin.
Species: Balance Pokemon
Type: Dark/Light
Ability: "Counterbalance" -The opponent's Pokemon is hit with recoil if Solun receives a critical hit.
Pokedex entry: Only a trainer who possesses an inner balance of his/her emotions can raise Solun to be as wealthy and happy as possible. Despite its size, this pokemon can unleash an incredible power .
Evolves into: Absol, by reaching maximum happiness and using a Dusk Stone, or Ablun, by reaching maximum happiness and using a Shiny Stone.
Name: Ablun
Name Origin: Union of "Ab" (one of the privative prepositions in Latin, literally meaning "absence of", "lack") and "Lun" short for "Luna", meaning "Moon" in Latin.
Species: Good Fortune Pokemon
Type: Light
Ability: Pressure
Pokedex Entry: Ablun lives in grassy plans and in all the cosiest places. It is said to bring abundance, prosperity and peace, and people see it as a good luck charm.

You know, I was just randomly looking up Husky Pokemon to get an idea for a video that I want to do, and I just came across this.
Honestly, I think that if Game Freak were to make a pre-evolution for Absol and add a "Good Fortune" Pokemon to counter-act Absol's "Disaster" Pokemon, this is how I think that it would look. Only, with Fairy Type being a thing now, I thing that Ablun would be Fairy, but since this was made long before Fairy was even a thing, that doesn't matter.
Anyway, I love how Ablun looks. It shows that there is a bright side, to the dark and I personally think that it captures the opposite of Absol well. If Ablun ever becomes a thing, I would personally use it for my team.
And... I just can't say enough good things about how this drawing looks. I know that I didn't explain myself well enough and I am sorry. I'm just, really impressed by this

This is amazing how you did the colors and everything.
This could be the best specimen of fakemon to ever exist. (faves)
And I want to start a group to put all of said fakes into the world's biggest dex. This is one of those pics that I would want in my featured and it is so cool. Solun is so great. This is why I just am so obsessed with pokemon; They always find new ideas. Why stop now It is never too late to express your ideas with art. And DON'T FORGET: THIS IS ME SAYING: pokemon forever!

I love this ideΓ©a. it would be so perfect to have a baby pokemon to absol and be abel to grow it to two different pokemon. if you don't want to use stones you can evolv them with max happiness in day/night time.

I actually think you should do this for more Pokemon, or like add something to them. For example, combining Solrock and Lunatone, making two different eclipse Pokemon, one representing the Solar one, the other the Lunar one.
Just a suggestion, but think about it. Be pretty awesome! Β

No they didn't XD The white absol I drew is the original one from the games, I only created "Solun" and "Ablun"
The one in the movie was a regular Absol

I really like this concept. A pokemon with perfect balance evolving into two stark opposites, like it goes from balance to one extreme. I also like the design on Ablun, making it look similair to Absol without being a copy with different colours.

Definetly. It reminds me a bit of the Zekrom and Reshiram, Ideal VS Truth. And you made me realise that Absol design does look a lot like the white half of Yin&Yang.
