This picture shows Celestia remembering/imagining herself as a young filly.The main reason for drawing this picture was because I had been thinking about the relative sizes of filly/adult Celestia while writing a story, and wanted to do something visual to help get my head around what did and didn't make sense.

Man. There's one thing I want more than anything from the show. I'd love to see Celestia and Luna as fillies. That would be adorable.

I'm divided. I like them because they're so ridiculously cute, but I also like the idea of them having a more profound origin than just being born and growing up. I'm not sure which I'd prefer the official canon to use.

I know, right? I like how Paradise had them being born as earth ponies, and earning both their horns and wings, yet I really love how had them always being alicorns. Did they have parents? How did they come into being?
For me personally, I'm just eager to learn what the official canon is. I'm excited for that alone, whatever it may be!
I'm pretty sure that if they do address it in the show, someone won't be happy about having their headcanon being ruined. I kinda shrug, though. I've read some pretty awesome "alternate universe" fanfics.
