Super quick design sheet thrown together in march for my toucan dragon. I didnt post it since it wasnt much to look at, but since you guys seem to like the toucan dragon in my recent post, i figured i may as well throw this up. Plus id like to start posting with more regularity again.-Sojourn-

Dude, you should totally try to be a monster designer for the Monster Hunter game series... this looks like it could be next in line... especially after the Yian Kut Ku, Yian Garuga, and then the most confusing thing I've ever seen... the Qurupeco...
Seriously, look those things up. Your creatures would totally be right at home in that game world. Also, it's REALLY GOOD!

Monster Hunter is definitely one of my favorite game series. I love monsters designs that have a lot of real world inspiration. Ive said many times that Rathalos is just about my all time favorite dragon design.

Haha. YES! Finally someone else who actually plays that game... I love it so much... I still remember my first fight with a Rathalos in MH the original... oh I never saw that one coming... lol
Still, now I got more balls than brains in that game 
My actual favourite monster that I've seen yet is the Raviente in the Frontier 7.0 trailer, but my favourite that I've fought has to be the Lao Shan Lung... I just wish it would fight back more, like the Jhen Moran, y'know?

Yeah ive probably played more of the MH franchise than any other series. lol if you look through my gallery, youll see some inspirations from it for sure. I had to stop halfway through MH3 though, i could just not get a the rarest los drop for the last piece of armor. I fought los exclusively for 15+ hours to no avail. So my interest kindve of waned after that. Plus i missed the enough variety of MHFU. MH3 was just like playing MH1 again, which was awesome back in 07, but what can i say, i missed silver los. Im super pumped for MHF3 this summer.
The raviente is super cool, if for no other reason than its size. I really like fighting lao with a hammer and going after his belly, its dangerous enough to be pretty exciting. Jhen was fun a couple times, but it was obnoxious anytime you got knocked into the sand and had to climb back up.

Oh I was a big MH roleplayer... lol I was shouting orders via my keyboard during the whole sandship battle... it was epic
I just want another main console MH... I don't have the handhelds
