I think amphibians are a completely underused creature design inspiration. I got way into learning about Rough Skinned Newts recently because I grew up with them. I did not know they were insanely deadly when eaten. Good thing I dont make a habit of eating wet knock-off lizards.
Anyways, here's my newt monster channeling some Sonic Adventure vibes.
