"Petals and Pearls" -- pen-on-paper drawing scanned and given tints and highlights in Corel PainterThis is my gift to for the January 2009 gifting meme. Hope you like it. Note me when you get a chance so I can send you a high resolution file.
I didn't want to title this one "Gardenia v.2" because anything with "version 2" attached is, to me, just so uninspired. So I decided to call this "Petals and Pearls" instead because after giving it overall green, the petals and pearls really stand out. It is always so much fun to color these because it's like putting makeup on a drawing. Also, I love putting sparkles everywhere. (But you knew that by now from all my other stuff... XD)

She's so very elegant with her beautiful come hither eyes! X) I do believe she has a slightly different look than your other ladies. I can't quite put my finger on what it is though.

I agree that she does look different from my other women!!! At first, I thought it might be the shape of her eyes (Her eyes are more Asian in shape, kind of.), but I also made it really light with pupils rather constricted, which makes the eyes look like she's more aloof -- certainly not all that excited to see someone, but rather seeing right through the person. (Or maybe it's simply very bright where she was... ^_^; )

Ooooo that could be with with the pupils and maybe just all around shading of the eyes. I think the face shape might be a little different as well. Ah well she's pretty whatever it is! X)
